GAME RULES
All Players at the Golden Tiger Poker Room must abide by the Poker Room's rules, terms and conditions, which you can find here.

Players must also abide by the general rules of the games they are playing, and they must also follow the additional system rules set down by the Golden Tiger Poker Room.

Understanding and Abiding by the Rules

By entering a game, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the General Game Rules, the System Rules and the individual Game Rules of the Multi-Player Poker System, as well as the terms and conditions of the Golden Tiger Poker Room.

Individual Play
Poker is a game where Players play for their own interest. Partnerships or any kind of collusion among Players is not permitted.

Minimum Buy-in
Fixed Limit:   10 times minimum bet
Pot Limit:   20 times minimum bet
No Limit:   20 times minimum bet

Table Stakes
There are low and high bets in each game. For example, in a $5/$10 game, the low bet is $5 and the high bet is $10.

Leaving and Returning to a Game
If you leave a game and return to that game in less than sixty minutes, you start the new game with the same stakes as when you left.

  • Note: If you leave one game to play in another game and lose, you may return to the first game and play at a lower limit bet. For more information on playing at a lower limit bet, see the section All-in.

All-in
If you do not have enough chips to bet during a hand, you are not forced to place the full bet amount. You must put all of your chips into the pot - this is known as calling all-in. All-in indicates that all your remaining chips are put into the pot. You then contend for the pot in an amount proportional to the chips you put in. The game play that continues among other Players is put into a side pot. The all-in Player has no share in this pot.

Players may only have one all in per day.

To request more all-ins, you will need to:

  1. Right-click the table graphic. A pop-up menu is displayed.
  2. Select the Request all-in reset option. Your all-in limit is reset to the default limit.

Checks and Raises
Checking and raising is permitted in all games.

Bets and Raises
No raises are allowed once the betting is capped. Players may only call or fold.

Blinds and Posts
Blind bets are used to start the game play. The Player to the immediate left of the Dealer posts the small blind. The next Player to the left posts the big blind. The small blind is half of the lower betting limit. The big blind is a full bet at the lower betting limit. For example, in a $10/$20 game, the small blind is $5 and the big blind is $10.

  • When new Players enter a game they are given a choice to post now or wait for the big blind. If a Player decides to wait, they receive no cards until it is their turn to play the big blind. If they decide to post, they bet the equivalent of one big blind, and receive cards immediately.
  • Both the big blind and post are considered live blinds. So, the Player who posted the small blind must equalize the betting once the new Player has posted the equivalent of one big blind.
  • Players who sit out and then sit in again, must either wait for the big blind to reach them again before receiving cards, or post a big blind.

Exposing Hands at Showdown

  • All active hands are automatically shown at the showdown unless a Player has previously clicked the Muck Losing Hands option.
  • All called hands at the showdown are available for viewing to any Player in the PlayCheck readout of a hand.
  • Players who win a pot without a showdown are given the option to show or muck their hand. Uncalled winning hands that are mucked are not available for viewing in the PlayCheck readout.

Sitting Out
Players can leave the table for a few hands by clicking the Sit Out button.
Note: You are removed from a table if you sit out for more than fifteen minutes or have missed two rounds of blinds.

System Rules
There are special rules that govern Internet Poker. These rules are in addition to the General Rules of Poker adopted by the House.

All Actions Stand
You determine the action you want to perform in a game by clicking the appropriate Action button. Once you have selected an action, it is final. Ensure you select the correct action.

Coffeehousing

  • This is when Players chat about a hand they are involved in, with the intent of misleading or manipulating other Players. Coffeehousing is not permitted.
  • No chat among Players, that could influence the play or outcome of the game, is allowed.

Slow Play
If you are connected to the system but are not responding when it is your turn, the following rules apply:

  • If you have not placed a bet in the hand, you have ten seconds to respond. Failing this, your hand automatically folds.
  • If you have placed a bet in the hand, you have thirty seconds to respond. Failing this, your hand automatically folds or is considered all-in. For more information on all-in restrictions, see the section Disconnections.
  • Note: Repeated instances of slow play may be grounds for a Player to be removed from the table. This decision is at the sole discretion of the House. There is a Sit Out option for Players who want to exit the table. Players must use this option to avoid the consequences.

Disconnections
If you are disconnected from the system during play, the following rules apply:

  • If you are disconnected during play, the table is notified via the game History box. For information on leaving and returning to a game, see the section Leaving and Returning to a Game.
  • If you are disconnected during the play of a hand and have not placed a bet, your hand automatically folds after ten seconds.
  • If you are disconnected during the play of a hand and have placed a bet, you have thirty seconds to reconnect. If you do not reconnect within 30 seconds, you cannot rejoin the table, and are considered all-in.

Note:

  • There is a limit to the number of times that a Player can call all-in in a 24-hour period. When this limit is exceeded, the Player's hand folds and any money the Player has contributed to the pot is forfeited.
  • You must be aware of your all-in status. When you have reached the all-in limit, you must request that the limit be reset. To request that the limit be reset, do the following:
    - Right-click the game table graphic. A pop-up menu is displayed.
    - Select the Request all-in reset… option. Your all-in limit is reset to the default limit.

Language
Communication between Players at the table is in English only.

  • No foul, abusive or insulting language is permitted. The use of such language may result in you being removed, suspended or banned from the Casino. If you use such language, your hand folds and all your contributions to the pot are forfeited.

Note: These decisions are at the sole discretion of the Golden Tiger Poker Room management.

Playing at More than One Table
You may play at more than one table at the same time.
Note: This is at the sole discretion of Golden Tiger Poker Room management.

The following rules apply:

  • The Golden Tiger Poker Room monitors Players who are playing at more than one table at the same time. This is to ensure that multiple-table play is not causing slow play. If Golden Tiger Poker Room management determines that slow play is a result of playing at multiple tables, the Player is forced to play at one table only.
  • The Player may not allege distraction or confusion as an excuse for errors made when playing at more than one table at the same time. Players are urged to consider the risk involved in playing at multiple tables at the same time. Errors that occur because of multiple-table play are strictly the Player's responsibility.

POKER ROOM RULES
All Players at the Golden Tiger Poker Room are members of Golden Tiger Casino, and must abide by the Casino's terms and conditions, which you can find here.

Players must also abide by the general rules of the games they are playing, and they must also follow the additional system rules set down by the Golden Tiger Poker Room.

Promotion Terms, and Conditions
We will credit your account with any promotional credits within one business day.

You are required to play through the credits placed in your account as well as any deposit before enabling you to cash in. This can be done by betting in a total of 100 raked hands. This doesn't mean you can't win with your credits, but that you must meet these criteria before cashing in your winnings.

All promotions can only be claimed once per person, household, family, household address, email address, credit card number, or shared computer environment such as a library, workplace, fraternity, university or school.

Unless specifically stated otherwise no two promotions can be used in combination and promotions only apply to deposits and wagers on the Golden Tiger Poker Room download software.

In the event that you have not made a purchase at this or any other Casino Rewards member casino, you may not redeem more than one $10 sign up bonus within the Casino Rewards network, regardless of the individual casino offering the sign up bonus.

You are only allowed one real active account. If you have more than one account or the name on the account doesn't match the name on the credit card used to make deposits to the account then all winnings will be void.

Promotional offers by email are for the intended recipient only and cannot be transferred. If you are not the intended e-mail recipient, the offer is null and void.

We contribute to and make use of a shared industry database of promotion abusers and fraudsters. Individuals known from this database to only make use of promotional offers without ever risking their own funds or to have been involved in any deliberate attempt to take money from an online casino or Poker Room without any serious intention to play will not be eligible for any promotional offers and the Golden Tiger Poker Room reserves the right to lock their account and refuse access to the Poker Room.

We apologize for any inconvenience but we are required to take these steps due to abuse in the past. Please be aware that all suspicious cash-ins will be audited before being processed.

Current Prima Poker Promotions Rules:

All promotions apply only to real-money players playing in real-money games. Guest play tables and tournament tables are excluded from all promotions.

Happy Hour
During any given “Happy Hour”, as defined above, if a prize or a jackpot is hit more than once, only the first instance applies.

A High Hand hit during Happy Hour will have precedence (i.e., will win) over the same hand hit not during Happy Hour. Example: If Player A hits a Royal Flush outside of the Happy Hour period, and Player B hits a Royal Flush within the Happy Hour period, Player B's hand will be considered the winner of the daily High Hand.

Grand Prix De Paris
Promotion Rules: Grand Prix de Paris

1) At any Level, any player can buy in for cash + fee.

2) Players can buy in and enter as many times as they wish, as long as tables are open. For example: A player wins at Level 1, goes to Level 2 and loses. He/she can go back to Level 1 and try again, as many times as desired. However:

  • Any individual player can only win one seat at the Grand Prix de Paris. Therefore, once a player has won a seat at the Grand Prix de Paris he/she can no longer participate in the satellites.

  • Players should not accumulate wins at one level before playing at the next level. When the satellite tournaments program ends “leftover” or unused wins will be forfeited to the prize pool.

3) No cash awards will be made from Satellite games. All prizes will be deposited into a players’ holding account to be applied to buy-ins at the subsequent Levels.

4) By entering the Grand Prix Satellites players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes.

5) By entering the Grand Prix Satellite players agree that, should they win a seat and the trip to Paris they will wear Prima Poker apparel (hats and/or T-Shirts) in accordance with the instructions of Prima Poker management.

6) Awarding of any and all prizes, if any, is at the sole discretion of Prima Poker management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.

7) The winners of the seats at the Grand Prix de Paris tournament can not sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seats to another person.

8) As in all tournaments, players may not sit out. Players who are not present shall be “blinded off” and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.

9) All satellite games shall be single-table, no-limit Hold’em freezeouts, following standard Prima Poker rules.

10) Decisions as to players’ eligibility to enter the Grand Prix Satellites and/or remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of Prima Poker management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.

11) Prima Poker management reserves the right to deny entry to the Grand Prix Satellites and/or remove a player or disqualify a player from same and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.

12) In the event there are not enough players to complete the three-level cycle, Prima Poker management, at its sole discretion, will arrange an alternate competition by which the winners will be chosen. Any and all decisions taken by Prima Poker management in this regard are final.

13) Prima Poker management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the Grand Prix de Paris Satellite Tournaments at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.

Bad Beat Jackpot
Rules for Bad Beat Jackpot

1) Applies to real money fixed limit Hold’em games from $2/$4 and up, and all real money Hold’em pot limit or no limit games.

2) Hand of four-of-a-kind or better must be beaten.

3) Both hole (pocket) cards of both the winning player and losing player in the hand must be used.

4) If there is a tie in value of a hole card with a board card the board card will be considered the card in play.

5) The hand must go to a showdown.

6) If there are more than two players who lose with qualifying hands, only the player with the highest losing hand qualifies as the loser of the pot.

7) At least four players must have been dealt into the hand.

8) Any chat during the hand that alludes to the fact or belief that the hand may be a bad-beat qualifier may disqualify the hand, at the sole discretion of Prima Poker management.

9) Prize distribution (refers to “those involved in the prize distribution” mentioned above): Loser of the hand: 50% of available prize money; Winner of the hand: 25% or the available prize money; other players who were dealt cards for that hand: 25% of the available prize money distributed equally among them, except as otherwise defined. Example: If the loser of the hand has played 200 raked hands in the 24 hours prior to the bad beat jackpot having been hit, that player shall receive 50% of $22,500. At the same time, if the winner of the hand has not played 200 raked hands in the 24 hours prior to the bad beat jackpot having been hit, that player’s share would be 25% of $15,000, the lower amount. Likewise, if another player who was dealt into that hand has played 200 raked hands in the 24 hours prior the bad beat jackpot having been hit, that player shall receive a share based on a total jackpot of $22,500. But any player involved in the distribution of the prize who has not played 200 raked hands in the 24 hours prior to the bad beat jackpot having been hit shall receive a share based on a prize pool of $15,000.

10) All decisions regarding prize distribution, if any, are at the sole and full discretion of Prima Poker management. All decisions taken by Prima Poker management in this regard are final.

11) If the Bad Beat Jackpot is hit during this promotion, the amount to which it shall be or might be reset, if at all, is at the sole and full discretion of Prima Poker management.
